I would rather spend one lifetime with you, then face all ages of this world alone

from this moment onwards
as I see the waves in the ocean
I will try not to remember you
As I see, the winter rain will fall
I will try not to be sad.
But then.….
what about the crimson
skies during sunset & the wind which plays
with the trees & the flower petals that fall on the street…
& the way the full moon mesmerises me…
there are many things in this world
that remind me of you
tell me how shall I forget you??
you went your way,
I went mine,
words left unsaid scattered in the wind
we never gave it a name these moment of ours,
Yet.. how long can a longing last..
nameless and fleeting?
even if it didn’t last…
It gave me a memory to cherish a lifetime…..
Night falls to the sound of crickets
temples bells sound from afar
The last crimson Embraces a deepening blue
As every second The sky changes its hue
At this hour
the mind is mellow looking for meaning
in the light and shadow,
another day is done little by little
this mundane gently moves on.
sitting outside
watching the lights come on
dotting the hills side A cold wind blows
from the pines above
slowly the stars coming on….
one by one soon it will be time
for the moon to rise…
IT will be time to remember you from moonrise till sunrise
my longing for you is like longing for rain,
Hw I wish you would come again & again.
Early morning
Misty and cold outside A few bird cries
echo among the tress.
Awake yet lost,
in my dreams…your visions
seems natural yet unreal
eyes wonder whether to open or remain closed.
The orange of dawn,
merging into the blue
leaves slowly awaken
their colours….constantly changing hue.
yesterday is gone,
leaving memories behind a new resolve for life,
we must not find.
the world may seem difficult friends a few,
yet if we look within change our point of view we will
soon find out zeal and purpose anew
you & me
in love forever we will be
even though,
time may forget us & winds may blow away what we were as dust and rain.
every time the full moon rises
as the night falls
the insects will sing our stories to the stars
again & again.
When will my heart stop
longing for you
when will my pen stop
writing verses in your memory.
when will
the waves in the ocean stop kissing the sands on the beach
when will the moon stop casting its reflection
on the waters
when will the clouds stop crying as monsoon rain.
Somewhere in a place far away,
where my eyes cannot see,
you will surely be.
you may not remember me
happy in your own little world.
yet once in a while
when the south wind blows,
ruffling through trees and a passing cloud
cries as rain
in that moment maybe,
you might just remember me.
hoping for that very moment,
in that every moment
is what this life,
means to me.
I catch your eye
and you blink.. looking away
why it is always hide and seek
when will we both
have the courage to let out lips speak.
